Terraria: tModLoader pricing

Terraria: tModLoader wants about 4 GB of RAM for a full server, so we recommend Starter, which runs around 16 players comfortably. Player counts are estimates for a vanilla server; heavy mods and big worlds want the next size up.

No contract. Switch to yearly later from your dashboard.

About the game

Dig, Fight, and Build your way through the world of player-created mods on Terraria with tModLoader - this DLC makes modding Terraria a reality!

tModLoader (TML) is an open-source, community-driven modification and expansion of the Terraria game that makes it possible to make and play mods. TML expands your Terraria adventures with new content to explore created by the Terraria community! TML allows players to create and play Terraria mods and is designed in such a way so that you can play alone or together with friends - with one mod or with multiple, choose to play however you like!

NOTE: It is required that all your friends also install TML if you want to play together; it is not possible for vanilla users to play with TML users.

Deployment

Official dedicated server files from Steam, installed and updated with SteamCMD from the panel's Update button.

Mods

Steam Workshop items are configured by id and downloaded by the server itself; the panel manages the id list.

Crashes

If the server crashes, the agent reads the log and fixes known causes on its own (wrong Java, EULA, port clashes, corrupt files). Anything unusual goes to the AI diagnoser, which proposes a fix you approve with one click. Either way, you see what happened and why.

Backups & files

Archived every six hours to a separate backup target, verified, kept 14 days, restorable from the panel. Browser file manager with editor, upload and download for every config and world file.
